The occurrence of highly charged molecular ion in fluorocarbonylsulfenyl chloride, FC(O)SCl is studied using tunable synchrotron radiation and multicoincidence techniques. Fragmentation patterns of the PEPICO spectra at the excitation energies around the K levels denote the presence of double ionized fragments. The influence of Coulomb interactions could cause the occurrence of atomizations as main fragmentation channels.
