Dissociative Photoionization of FC(O)SCl, ClC(O)SCl and ClC(O)SCH3 following Sulfur 1s and Chloride 1s Excitations

Resumen:
The study of photoionization and photofragmentation of the sulfenylcarbonyl compounds FC(O)SCl, ClC(O)SCl, and ClC(O)SCH3 around the S 2p, Cl 2p, C 1s, O 1s, and F 1s transitions were measured by using synchrotron radiation in the 100-1000 eV range. The PEPICO spectra measured for three molecules in their resonance energies, show signals split corresponding to specific ions according to the particular electronic transition which could be an indication of possible effects of alignment.
