Resumen:
The Ocean Carbon and Cycling Project (OC3) project aims to create a global database of deglacial stableisotope data with high resolution age models. Numerous sites exist with these characteristics, but mostof them have been reported independently from one another, and measured by different scientificgroups and laboratories. Isotope data may have been subject to corrections, the species sampled differamong cores, and the methods to calculate age models may not be compatible among different sites. Tocreate a global database of the deglacial period, these aspects need to be correctly documented, andage models need to be standardized. In this talk we describe the work in progress regarding the OC3database, and discuss future goals.
