Resumen:
Studies in mice undergoing acute Trypanosoma cruzi infection, and patients with Chagas disease, led to identify several immunoneuroendocrinedisturbances and metabolic disorders. Here, we reviewrelevant findings concerning such abnormalities and discuss theirpossible influence on disease physiopathology.
