Resumen:
The mechanical properties and nanostructure of a thermoset polyurethane nanocomposite has been studied as a function of dispersion method, nanoparticle type, concentration and polyol OH number. The results have shown that the best nanoparticle was Silica, obtaining improvements in ductility, static toughness and tensile strength. In addition, the dispersion analysis revealed the optimum experimental conditions to obtain an improvement of mechanical properties.
