Resumen:
The study of the properties of long gamma-ray burst hostgalaxies and their environment could shed light onto the problem of thenature of the stellar progenitors of these high-energy phenomena. In thispaper we present preliminary results of an investigation of the host envi-ronment of 8 long gamma-ray bursts, that suggest that these phenomenaoccur in field galaxies.
