Resumen:
In this work we continued the study of the formation of globular
clusters in hierarchical clustering scenarios presented by Pellizza
González et al. (2002). We used numerical hydrodynamical
simulations of structure formation which include star formation and
chemical enrichment by type Ia and II supernovae in a cosmological
framework (Tissera, García Lambas & Abadi 1997, Tissera et
al. 2001, Mosconi et al. 2001), and which describe the formation of
galactic-like objects. Analysing the star formation history of the
simulations we investigated the presence of stellar populations with the
astrophysical properties of globular cluster ones (old and metal-poor).
We found that these populations statistically correlate with the
occurrence of starbursts with high star formation efficiency (collapses,
mergers) and in which massive gas clouds are present. Simulated globular
clusters in each galactic-like object show in some cases bimodal colour
distributions similar to those observed in real galaxies. It is also
possible to reproduce the observed correlation between the total mass in
globular clusters in a galaxy and the luminosity of the galaxy. We
analysed the origin of these properties and their relationship to the
star formation and merger histories of galactic-like objects.
