Resumen:
In this work, it is analyzed the thermal stability of two samples of Cu-11.8wt%Alobtained by different milling processes. Several TEM techniques and HT-XRDexperiments are done to determine the crystal structure and the morphologicalmicrostructure of the samples obtained during different heat treatments. The heattreatments are: a quenching from 850 °C to room temperature and two consecutivecalorimetric runs at 5 °C/min. These studies determine that the first sample is a better candidate than the second sampleto produce a shape memory alloy after thermo-mechanical treatments of the milledpowders.
