Resumen:
There is a great advance in research on the measure, causes and consequences of inequality: wage inequality has received attention for its implications, in relation to economic policies, growth and development. This article presents a new series on wages, with an analysis about the gender wage gap in Buenos Aires between 1903-1944. This data has not been studied in detail in the Argentine case. Therefore, it covers an important vacant area on the knowledge of female workers income. The data generate allows comparisons with other spaces and regions.
