Resumen:
We shall use magnetic field data from the Titan encounters TA,TB,T3,T8 at 10.6,10.5,10.3 and 9.3 Saturnian Local Time, respectively, and theoretical results from the Advanced 3D-model by Backes et al.[2005]to continue our investigation of the 3D-magnetic field in Titan's induced magnetosphere. In this paper we shall study the draping boundary, which is often seen as a relatively well defined 1.order discontinuity in the magnetic field. Its cross-section is close to an ellipse with the semimajor axis parallel to the initial magnetic field direction and a displacement towards the dayside of Titan away from Saturn.Using flyby T8 we shall try to follow its development forward to the bow of the structure. A suitably defined dynamical draping coordinate system will aid in the structural studies of the polarity reversal layer of the near tail.
