Nevertheless, far from this panacea, the amplitude of the notion, which is not free of contradictions, usually implies an implicit ideological dimension in it. Starting off on a conceptual explanation, we propose to take into account the contributions and the potentialities that sectors of the calls “creative industries” and, in particular, some “cultural industries” used to have in the past and still have in the present, for the Argentinean case. Many of these potentialities have not been managed yet sufficiently to generate a positive multiplication effect on the sector’s set. Independently of what it could be generated, the impulse of a genuine development in Argentina is still linked with educative and distributives policies as well as other institutions that accompany them.
