Resumen:
Previously, we demonstrated that disruption of TNFR1 signallingpathway increased plasmatic interleukin-1β levels, liver inflammation and enhanced the progression of NAFLD to steatohepatitis(NASH) in a High Fat Diet (HFD) murine model. In this regard, reactive oxygen species are involved in liver inflammation and HFD-derived hepatic injury. The aim of this work was to evaluate the effect ofTNFR1 disruption signalling on the antioxidant response mediatedby NRF2 pathway in our mouse model of obesity and insulin resistance. C57BL/6J wild type (WT) and C57BL/6-Tnfrsf1atm1Imx/Jknockout (TNFR1 KO) mice (n=6) were fed with regular chow diet(CHOW) or a 40% high-fat diet for 16 weeks (HFD).
