Resumen:
NK, T, B cell antigen (NTB-A) and SLAM associated protein (SAP) expression are required for T cell restimulation-induced cell death (RICD). We reported that T cells from Low responder (LR) tuberculosis (TB) patients displayed higher levels of SAP mRNA and protein than healthy donors (HD) and High responder (HR) TB patients. Here, we evaluated cell loss in restimulated cells to address whether SAP is directly required for RICD using X-linked lymphoproliferative (XLP) patients (SAP-deficient patients).
