Validación de las alturas geopotenciales de 1000 hPa obtenidas del modelo de diagnóstico del Servicio Meteorológico Nacional

It has done a spatial objetive analysis of geopotential heigts data for the 1000 hPa level of pressure, corresponding to the months of January and July, from 1990 to 1995. They were calculated by the Meteorological Service diagnostic model. The unrouted Principal Components Analysis with a T-mode input matrix has been used as method. This methodology has been repeated for different grids, comparing these resutls with those obtained previously, under the same study, by Compagnucci and Salles (1996), whth real measured data for a different period.
