Resumen:
p { margin-bottom: 0.21cm; } The concept of a singular point of a tropical variety is not well established yet.  A natural definition is to declare a point q in a tropical variety V singular if q is the image under the valuation of a singular point of a classical algebraic variety, defined over the field of Puiseux series and with tropicalization V.We present a purely tropical characterization of a singularity of a tropical hypersurface of arbitrary dimension (with fixed support) in terms of tropical Euler derivatives. We also describe in this settingnon-transversal intersections of planar tropical curves.  We show an algorithm to compute all singularities and we relate our approach to the known tropicalization of the discriminant. This is joint work with Luis F. Tabera (U. Cantabria).
