Asimismo, es la traducción al inglés de la introducción en castellano del libro Modo de Vida Imperial publicado por la editorial Tinta Limón. El resumen sería el siguiente: The following text is the record of an interview between GabrielaMassuh, director of the cultural department of the Goethe Institute inBuenos Aires, Bruno Fornillo, researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (Conicet) of Argentina, and Camila Moreno,Brazilian sociologist and post-doctoral researcher at the Humboldt University of Berlin, discussing the book Imperial mode of Living. Everyday Lifeand the Ecological Crisis of Capitalism with its co-author Ulrich Brand. Thediscussion was organised online in June 2021 by the argentine publisherTinta Limón. A longer version of this text was published in 2021 as an introduction to the Latin American and Spanish edition of the book Modo de vidaimperial. Vida cotidiana y crisis ecológica del capitalismo, written by Ulrich Brand and Markus Wissen, and published by Tinta Limón Ediciones. Forthe purpose of including Latin American discussions about the conceptin this special issue of the Journal of Development Studies, the editors ofthis special issue have translated and slightly edited this text, and addedendnotes to clarify some concepts.
