ABSTRACT The curriculum on space law consists of two complementary modules. The first module “Basic concepts of international law and space law”, which should be offered to all students, addresses the basic concepts of international law and provides an introduction to the legal regime governing the conduct of space activities. This module has been developed to complement each of the four subsequent modules dedicated to the disciplines of the regional centres, namely remote sensing and GIS, satellite meteorology and global climate, satellite communication and space, atmospheric sciences and Global Navigation System of Systems (GNSS).   The following breakdown of time for each module is recommended:   Module Topic       Duration 1 Basic concept of international law and space law 2 weeks, 16 hours 2 Remote sensing/GIS and applicable international law and other regulations + Satellite meteorology and global climate and applicable international law and other regulations 2 weeks, 10 hours 3 Satellite communications and applicable international law and other regulations 2 weeks, 11 hours 4 Space and atmospheric sciences and applicable international law and other regulations 2 weeks, 10 hours 5 GNSS and applicable international law and other regulations 2 weeks, 10 hours   The duration of the modules of each course is reflected in the following table. The detailed breakdown by module, sub-module and type of activity is reflected under each module.
