This presentation dealt with the ILA contribution in the field of space law during 2008, addressing topics such as security in space, outer space as theatre of war, remote sensing, national space legislation, registration, space debris and registration. Likewise, an introduction to the study and legal  implications of NEOs (near earth objects). Emphasis was given to the problems arising from the use of satellite data in international and national litigation and to the suggestions stemming from an international  Conference held in Buenos Aires on 14 May 2008 on the topic, with the auspices of the European Space Agency, CONAE, Conicet and INDAE.
