The aftermath of the 2014 Washington ConferenceINTRODUCTION A very warm welcome to our new members Mr Félix Menicocci (HQs/Argentima), Dr Guoyu Wang (HQs) and Dr Cassandra Steer(Canadian Branch) who have joined our Committee following the Washington DCConference.  We are most grateful to the Committee members and other specialists of greatrenown who have been cooperating with us in the challenging responsibility ofpreparing this Second Report and discussing the intricacies brought about by the law of outer space in its recent developments. On 23/24 February 2016 this Chair (Professor Maureen Williams)  circulated an initial document entitled "ILA Space Law Committee  A request for views from members"  in preparation for the Report to be submitted to the Seventy-Seventh ILA Conference on 7-11 August2016. We are grateful to all of you who provided excellent and realistic thoughts and very valuable information during March and April 2016. These contributions were duly registered, the authors quoted by name and all forms part of the current Report.PLEASE  NOTE: Part One of this Report (pages 117-133 was prepared, individually, by the president of the Space Law Committee of the International Law Association, Professor Maureen Williams(Part Two of this Report (pp. 134-141) was prepared by the Committee General Rapporteur. Professor Stephan in consultation with the Committee Chair (president)  Professor Maureen Williams, and members of this Group  Tanja Massoon-Zwaam and Rada Popova ).
