This report compiles the results of the paleoenvironmental and sequential analysis of the Lower
Neuquén Group in well PAR.LP.ECN-242 (depth between 512.70 m and 537.45 m) based on core
studies and FMI image analysis. The aims of this study were:
o To interpret the depositional environments in which these deposits were accumulated based on
main sedimentary processes represented.
o To define and interpret, within an evolutionary framework the main changes in the depositional
environments registered.
