We have studied the early process of polymer crystallization through the Muthukumar´s model. We have included an additional term to the free energy functional to account for the saturation of the order parameter. Though this model it is possible to study the very early correlations between density fluctuations and the precursors for crystallization. The three main stages for crystallization observed experimentally are captured by the model.
