Resumen:
The problem of aligning self-assembled block copolymer (BC) structures is an important issue in nanotechnology. Experimental data on thin lms of cylinder-forming BC - free-standing BC membranes and supported BC lms - suggest that the local orientation of the BC patterns is coupled to the geometry in which the patterns are embedded. We analyze this phenomenon using numerical self-consistent eld theory studies of curved BC lms in cylindrical geometry. The stability of the lms against curvature-induced dewetting is also investigated.
