Relevance of Preyssler heteropolyacids like recyclables catalysts in organic reactions

The use ofheteopolyacid catalyst in organic reactions has presented several advantages in the last years; within thatgroup of heteropolyoxometalates, stand out the acids with Preyssler structure because their particular acidityand geometry, presenting an internal cavity with acid sites in its interior. This work presents thé preparation uoáchnactenzation of acids and salts with Preyssler structure, as well as their application as catalyst in diverse organicreactions.In relation to organic reactions these tests were: tetrahydropiranilation ofalcohols and phenols, conversion ofaldehideson acilals, acetylation of alcohols, phenols, amines and thiols, preparation of bencydryl ethers, aryl and aralkylcinnamates, flavones and dihydroangelicins
