Este trabajo fue seleccionado para presentación oralRoot growth and architecture are determined by the interplay between intrinsic developmental programs and the influence of the soil environmental conditions. In contrast to Arabidopsis roots (cruciferae), legume roots are able to interact symbiotically with soil microorganisms, and develop two types of secondary lateral organs (lateral roots and nodules).
