Resumen:
In this article, an algorithm for numerically solving the non-linear system of partial differential equations (PDEs) that model the dynamic of martensitic phase transitions in one-dimensional Shape Memory Alloys is presented. The algorithm is based upon a state-space formulation of the equations. The approximations are defined in terms of the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the operator associated to the linear part of the resulting semilinear Cauchy problem. For the alloy Au23Cu30Zn47, numerical results are shown under the effect of different external distributed actions and for several initial conditions.
