Resumen:
The present paper contains some results about the algebraic sets ofplanar normal sections associated to the focal manifolds of homogeneousisoparametric hypersurfaces in spheres.With the usual identi…cation of the tangent spaces to the focal mani-fold with subspaces of the tangent spaces to the isoparametric hypersur-face, it is proven that the algebraic set of planar normal sections of thefocal manifold is contained in that of the original hypersurface.
