Resumen:
Antibodies reacting against endothelial and/or Schwann cell membrane were detected in 25 out of 38 symptomatic children recently infected with Trypanosoma cruzi. We hypothesize that they had originated in cross-reacting antigens between T. cruzi and human tissues.
