Resumen:
Age of Triatoma phyllosoma pallidipennis eggs was found to have a clear influence on the parasite Telenomus fariai. Parasite developmental time is shorter at intermediate host-egg ages. Female parasite progeny per host egg is larger at intermediate host-egg ages. Percent parasitism decreases with older host-egg ages. No influence was found on the sex ratio of the parasite's progeny. Some of the results are interpreted in evolutionary terms, and a practical recommendation for laboratory' mass rearing of the parasite is given.
