Resumen:
Catalytic elimination of diesel soot involves three phases: catalyst (solid phase), soot (solid phase) and a gas phase (mainly O2 and CO2). The existence of two solid phases is the main limitation of the system. For this reason mobile species are needed in order to favor the contact between them. Using temperature-programmed oxidation (TPO) technique, it was found that the anion of the salt used as precursor has a strong influence on the catalytic properties   and on the reaction mechanism. When TPO was carried out at constant final temperature, the results obtained were unexpected: the CO2 production increaseed with time under isothermal conditions. These results indicates that the  kinetic is much more complex that that currently used in different models
