Basic documentation to create the protected area and its management plan by the Villavicencio Reserve is elaborated. Historical, arqueolochical, palentological, geological, geomorphological, soils, hydric, climatic, flora and fauna information is compilated. Besides, the private convenience is relevated. All tematic information is cartographically expressed. By cartographyc superposition and discussión between specialists all conflicts and their solution are indicated, and the zonation of the area is proposed. The Villavicencio Natural Reserve constitutes the first case in the Mendoza province of one protected area located in privated lands but its management fall in the state responsability.
