Resumen:
ABSTRACT. Mining investment project for the explotation and comercialization of the “Otto XIX” pegmatitc quartzdeposit, Comechingones Pegmatitic Field, Córdoba. In the southern Comechingones Pegmatitic Field (CPF), Sierrade Comechingones, Córdoba, a large number of quartz-rich pegmatites crop out conformably with mylonitic rocksof the Guacha Corral Shear Zone. These pegmatites mostly consist of high purity homogeneous quartz, with locallymuscovite and K-feldspar, they’re mostly tabular, and generally less than 200 m long and 5 m wide. No zonationwas identi ed in these pegmatites, and wall rock muscovitization alteration is rarely observed. In this work, a mininginvestment project for the “Otto XIX” pegmatitc quartz deposit, a characteristic example of this pegmatite groupin the CPF, is developed. Measured reserves rise up to 3.873 tons in this deposit, whereas indicated and inferredreserves reach up to 7.830 tons. Quartz quality has an average purity of 99,41% SiO2, but 70% of the total volumerises over values of 99,9% SiO2. In this work, a technical-economical- nantial evaluation up to the prefactibilitystage of the project consisting of the explotation and commertialization of the Otto XIX pegmatitc quartz deposit isdeveloped. Finally, as a future complementary project, the extension of the project useful life by adding simmilarnear located pegmatitic quartz deposits, is proposed.
