Resumen:
In the Sierra de Comechingones, Córdoba, an extensive zone was transformed thermally to metamorphic rocks by the intrusión of the Cerro Aspero batholith. Hornfels and semihornfels are the dominant rocks in the hornblende hornfels facies of thermal metamorphism. The most representative mineral paragénesis is cordierite-andalucite-sillimanite-biotite, suggesting temperatures between 500º C and 600º C and pressure about 2 kbar.
