Main physiological bases at the crop level of organization, and strategies for improving maize grain yield have been analyzed thoroughly along this book. In this Chapter we summarized new research being held on this topic in Argentina, which reflected the importance of the anthesis-silking interval (ASI) and pollination synchrony on maize kernel set. The sources of information presented in this Chapter were the volunteer presentations made by several researchers in the Workshop.
