Averages associated to the energy momentum tensor of new geometries describing dark matter

In this short talk we will give a synthetic description of a line of research intended tounderstand the problems involved in the study of systems with dark matter.We will have in mind an intermediate size system as a cluster of galaxies.We will concentrate on the notion of averages in general relativity.
