Resumen:
Theoretical research on low?energy localized surfaceplasmons (LSPs) supported by an active core?shell particlehas interest in the practical realm. Here, the core is made ofsemiconductor nanocrystal wrapped with a graphene sheet, whilethe shell is filled with a dielectric active medium to achievethe LSPs amplification by stimulated emission of radiation. Toobtain the spaser condition, we obtain the complex frequenciesby considering the analytic extension to the complex plane ofthe solution to the boundary?value problem. We present resultsrelated to scattering observable such as the scattering crosssection close to the spaser condition. By dynamically tuning thechemical potential of graphene, the spectral position of the spasercondition can be chosen over a wide range.
