Resumen:
We theoretically investigated the interaction of light carrying orbital angular momentum —or twistedlight— with semiconductor structures. We first study the kinetics of optically excited electrons, andthen propose applications where twisted light can be used to manipulate in the picosecond time scale the quantum state of semiconductor-based structures.
