Resumen:
Bacteria reservoir mats were fabricated by electrospinning Polivinil alcohol (PVA). Ecolibacteria were grown inside of the electrospun mesh but nowhere else, since themicrostructure and the elasticity of the membrane allow growth only in the interior andnot on the surface. On the other hand, on a continuous film of the same material, bacteriagrow on the surface. The presented results show that bacteria can colonize the interior ofthe electrospun nanofiber and are resistant to the washing, producing in this way abiological filter for a variety of environmental and biotechnological applications.
