Resumen:
In this short course I will present an introduction to the study of turbulence in rotating flows, including: (1) phenomenological theories for scaling laws and the energy spectrum, (2) wave turbulence theories, (3) methods to identify and quantify inertial waves in a turbulent rotating flow, and (4) a formalism to quantify the contribution of resonant triads to the anisotropic transfer of energy.
