Flavor independece of jet hadronic calibration

We present a sequential global calibration which corrects the jet energy according to the fractional depositions in each calorimeter layer and the characteristics of the tracks associated to the jet. We show that this calibration has the crucial advantage that it reduces the flavor dependence of the energy scale, and thus leads final state independence.
