Resumen:
In this work we propose a method of background subtraction of galaxies to calculate the Halos Occupation Distribution. This technique allows us to combine spectroscopic catalogs of galaxy groups with information from photometric surveys. To evaluate the method, we use synthetic catalogs constructed from semi-analytic models of galaxy formation applied to the Millennium Simulation I. Finally, we present the implementation of the method in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS DR7) and we compare the results with those obtained by other authors.
