Resumen:
We consider here the effect of temporal correlations on the transmission of spike trains in an integrate and fire neuron. We find that if the noisy input spike train is variable enough, the signaltonoise ratio can display more than one peak as a function of the noise strength. This result is analyzed in terms of a simple probabilistic description of the problem.
