Resumen:
Using Kitt Peak and SOHO/MDI magnetograms we follow the development of the magnetic field of two active regions (ARs) from their birth throughout their decay for 4 and 6 solar rotations in the periods of October 1995-January 1996 (NOAA 7912) and July- December 1996 (NOAA 7978). From the photospheric motions of the opposite magnetic polarities of these two bipoles we deduce the sub-photospheric geometry of the flux tubes forming them.
