Resumen:
We present recent results on a free boundary problem for an inhomogeneous operator with nonstandard growth. This operator has been used in the modelling of electrorheological fluids and in image processing.We obtain free boundary regularity results for weak solutions. We finally apply these results to suitable minimization and shape optimization problems.
