Resumen:
In a previous report we presented preliminar results concerning the building of a laser pump cavity, complying a Nd:Glass slab acting as an active medium close coupled to a laser diode array. This time we present an extention of this study performing new tests that include, capture of the fluorescence distribution, temperature profile and absorption curves of the pump radiation into de active medium. Optimized dimensions for the Nd:Glass slab and constructive details for the reflective cavity were also investigated in order to support the high power pump levels involved
