Efecto del contenido de Germanio en las propiedades de catalizadores trimetálicos PtReGe/Al2O3 de reformado de n-heptano

Resumen:
The influence of Ge content on the catalytic activity of PtReGe/Al2O3 catalysts used in nheptane reforming was studied. The catalysts were prepared by coimpregnation method and supported on chlorided alumina. The content of Pt and Re were 0.3%, while the Ge load was varied between 0.1 to 0.9 %. In order to compared the effect of modification of the metallic function, it were also prepared Pt/Al2O3, PtRe/Al2O3 and PtGe/Al2O3 catalysts. The characterization was carried out by reaction test: acid function, by n-pentane isomerization; metallic activity, by cyclohexane dehydrogenation and n-heptane reforming to evaluated the balance between both functions. It was found that Ge decreases more than Re the metal activity of Pt and decreases the strong acids sites of alumina leading a catalysts with less formation of cracking products and coke. The Ge addition to PtRe catalysts decreases the hydrogenolysis activity. Small quantities of Ge (<0.3%) produce a enhanced stability and yield to isoparaffins of the trimetallic PtReGe/Al2O3 and decrease the aromatic formation.
