Resumen:
Despite trimetallic catalysts have been considered to be the last generations of the reforming catalysts, the properties of these materials are scarcely known. Moreover, it has been noted that the beneficial effect of rhenium on the properties of industrial catalysts is achieved only after sulfiding the catalysts, in order to decrease the high hydrogenolysis activities of the fresh catalysts. Considering these aspects, the influence of sulfidation on the performance of Pt-Re-Sn/Al2O3 catalysts in the n-octane reforming was studied in this work, in order to get more efficient catalysts.
