Resumen:
Different basic materials, such as K-doped alumina, zeolite KL, Mg/Al mixed oxide and a mechanical mixture between doped alumina and MgO, were used as supports of Pt catalysts for dry reforming reaction. The characterization of the supports by TPD of CO2 and isopropanol decomposition reaction showed a higher basicity in the mixed oxide and in the mechanical mixture, while the K-doped alumina and the zeolite KL displayed relatively lower basicities. Pt catalysts supported on Al2O3-K and zeolite KL, both of moderate and low basicity, showed the better catalytic behaviors in dry reforming respect to activity and produced H2/CO ratio.
