Resumen:
We discuss the most recent spectroscopic and spectropolarimetricobservations of the star HD19400, which represents the group of PGa stars. Our highresolutionstudy of abundances, line profile variability, and the longitudinal magnetic fieldof HD19400 reveals a remarkable similarity between this group and the HgMn stars.
