Resumen:
The concept of argument type is inherent to the computational study of argumentation. However, this concept has always been considered as an underlying component of the problem for which the argumentation is used. In this work, we will introduce a concrete representation of argument types based on abstract argumentation frameworks where each type will be identi ed by a set of abstract arguments and relations among them. In addition, we will de ne a set of type relations to establish possible con icts, preferences and inheritances among the argument types. Individual types and their relations will characterize a Multi-Typed Argumentation Framework. This framework will allow to evaluate the acceptability of its arguments taking into account the type information and the corresponding relations. Examples and an instantiation in an agent programming language for the proposed framework will be shown.
