Contentful Knowledge and the Unity of Being and Determinateness in Hegel´s Logic

The main theses we uphold in this paper are 1) that Hegel´s central epistemological claim, namely the identity of objectivity and subjectivity, relies on his ontological theory about the type of relation between existence and the determinate character of objects of knowledge, and 2) that, according to Hegel, it is only on the basis of this identity that contentful knowledge is actually possible.
